Question 8700(g) & Sending emails with attachments...

This week is a bad week for me, and I don't seem to be thinking straight.

Nonetheless, I've searched, but still confused. Is there no option, or software that will allow my 8700g to send an email with an attachment, or photo from the pictures section on my device?

Or, am I just missing something?

Nav, unfortunately our 8700g's most recent OS does not give us the ability to email pics from our device. Hopefully if/when 4.2 for 8700 is released. But, by then, I'll probably have my 8800.

You have to send an MMS to an email address.

That is the only way to do it. Check your data plan, you may be charged for each MMS you send.

Yep, tested it, I can send an MMS to an email address and it works. Not sure about cost. I will have to check that, just in case...

yeah i noticed this earlier in the week, im coming from using the sidekick 2 for three years so a lot of the options on the BB are very difficult to adjust to.

Is it just a change in the OS version for the 8700 with tmobile that killed the feature to send an attachment especially a picture with the email and forcing me to use MMS which sucks because my plan inculdes unlimited text data and email but not MMS and I am not interested in paying more than I already do
