hurray! that's awesome.
Finally, been using .42 for some time now.
Refused to upgrade to .52 becasue the platform was still .55
Hope fully this fixes my voicemail icon.
I've got an 8700 laying around I'll load it and see how it works.

Still no BB Browser for people using the 8700g with ATT service....
Also still cant get images in emails.
Any cool new features? I was thinking about upgrading my pops BB, but if there isn't anything special, I don't think it's worth it.

Well, without loading a sim card, surprisingly no. It does have the updated media player with Ring Tones, Pictures, Voice Notes. Voice Note Recorder, Documents to Go Word/Slideshow to go are present. Updated 4.5 look on all the applications, Spell Check...funny under Mobile network and am able to change Selection to Manual, and it picked T-Mobile as the network. Honestly without the media card, most of the media functions aren't there. I may be able to find a sim card to test streaming stuff like youtube.
I was thinking of upgrading my mom's 8700c, but I only see the 8700f or g versions floating around for the OS. Does that affect it (like not being able to use the 8300 version on an 8330)?
Thanks!
no it does not affect it at all just remember to Delete the vendor.xml file (C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader)
- Load the OS with AppLoader (through DesktopManager) (Usually takes anywhere between 30min - 1hr)
- Restore Third Party Apps

Thanks man... I've been looking everywhere for this hoping it would pop up. The interface looks cleaner. As if the graphic handling engine were better in some way. I also like the HTML emails. That's awesome!!
Is it worth going from .42 to this? Any faster or more stable?
Will this load to an 8700c on AT&T service??
