The 8700 OS 4.2 is in Beta testing and has not been released to the download sites yet.

This need to be made a sticky announcment or something. Cause TMO BB Reps (2 of them so far) have told me that 8100 OS/DM upgrades are backwards compatible. Maybe we all need to syncronize ourselves and call TMO customer service at the same time and ask the exact same question- "Hey is the 8100 OS/DM software backwards compatible? ARE YOU SURE???"

LOL- Service rep fixed my issue but went the extra mile of suggesting that I upgrade my OS. I know they meant well, maybe I should have told them I was a member of PINSTACK (sinister music plays in the background)
