    4.2 on 8700G clicking/heartbeat

I've tried just about every version of 4.2 on my T-Mob 8700G (including the official T-Mob version 4.2.1.107) and I still get this clicking noise from the speaker like a heartbeat. I recorded it in an mp3 and zipped the file up in case anyone wants to listen. It's only 80k.

Please respond if you have heard anything similar. It does run the battery down substantially faster.

    Jonno.

I'm assuming there isn't a 3rd party app causing this, right? If not, sounds like you have a faulty speaker. Is it a new handset?

I wondered about that so I removed every app except for the basic Blackberry apps. Still there. And it consistently disappears when I revert to a 4.1 version and reappears when I upgrade to ANY 4.2 version.

Got me baffled. If I wipe the handheld I presume I would have to set up the Enterprise Activation again?

AFAIK If you wiped, you will have to run the enterprise activation again
