it is back on as of about 20 minutes ago.
Can't remember when it was down last at all.

Actually, your built-in 'Browser' has no relation to that.
Check your Service Book.
It should have 'Blackberry Internet Browsing Service [Browser]'
showing in it for you to have the 'Browser' icon and to browse.
If you have not already, switch off handset, remove battery and
put it back after a few seconds, then switch handset back on.
Then do the 'Register' procedure again.
If the diags test still show No Blackberry service then I guess
your area may still have some problems with the BB data service.
I'd call TMO - 611 from your handset- in case it persists,
to check on status of the service in your neck of the woods.
Do you actually see a list of numbers in your Host Routing Table?
Because I did my last upgrade last evening just when the BB data service
was down and after that my HRT was completely blank.
No email/No Browser either.
No amount of Registering would produce any results.
Until this morning- as soon as the BB service began working again
my HRT was populated backto normal.
