im also very sorry. terrible news. lol. i had a treo 650 way back. and for lack of better words it was horrible. im not hating on the treo. i just have to say i had nothing but problems with it. good luck man

That's a switch I considered making very recently. I got the BB because it came recommended by a friend, but soon after I started working with a company that did everything PDA-wise on the Palm OS. At the same time, my wife's Nokia hadn't been acting right so I figured I let her keep the Pearl whilst I get a new Treo. Luckily (for me) my wife only wants a basic phone- as long as it's slim- so I bought her a Samsung t509(?), I bought myself a used E2 on ebay and I got to keep the Pearl and it was a happy ending for all.

well for unbiased opionion in my eyes they are 2 completely different devices.

blackberry being souly communication for business and consumers alike

treo software functionality and overall basic use its really upt to you

The bad news is that palm is on it's knees right now and isn't living up to it's customers expectations. The rest of the mobile world has been changing with the times while Palm has been pretty idle with no major changes in their operating systems and cancellation/postponement of recent projects.

Ya palm is staying loyal. But the way things are moving they should start putting some more media capabilities on their devices. I personally would never get one. All that bulk, no way.

I like treos because there's a lot more functionality to it. Unlike bbs there's much more apps and I noticed that companys like adobe and mobipocket come out with apps on palms and then later on bbs.
