Looking for a host of new apps for your Pre or just want to try out some beta apps? Palm's own store as we all know is a bit limited at the moment, but that hasn't stopped folks from developing their own apps. Trying to simplify the whole process of finding, testing, and reviewing apps, the folks over at
PreCentral have updated their Homebrew forums with a new browsing feature.
Rather then toiling through forums reading posts, looking for links, and finding reviews, they have created an easy to use system. You can sort, filter, rate, and even download the apps through this new interface. There's even instructions on installing them to your Pre. They ask that you bear in mind though that these apps are more or less beta and therefore functionality likely won't be 100% yet. However, if you're one of those that loves to troubleshoot apps and test out the newest ones, it's definitely worth a look.
