I was talking to a person who stopped working for Verizon wireless not too long ago, and they told me that Verizon is getting their own version of the iPhone. Just thought I'd share :-)

Proof is in the puddin for just about anyone and everyone who has heard this for soo long we can't even count now.

We are all wishing it to happen and happen fast.

It will lighten the load for AT&T users and make many others happy to have it on Verizon so they can see how the device works w/o giving in to AT&T

LOL, I think it'd be good. I love my blackberry to death, but if I were able to get an iPhone somewhere like Verizon where they seem to actually half way care about network quality, then I'd be good. I'm hating T-Mo right about now. Trying to figure out a way to get out my contract without having to pay the penalty. But that's a story for a different day...LOL

That's funny. I heard from an employee last year it shoud come out first quarter of 2010, and that's already passed. I won't believe it till I see it.
It's not an iPhone addiction, it's insomnia!

Nawt bloody likely!!! Verizon is already whining about how much data the droid uses and other smartphones as a whole on their network. It's not just AT&T that is suffering from this before you know it all these cellphone service providers will cry about the same issue. It's nature or in this case data transfer overload

I really hope they do end up getting the phone so we can all read daily posts about how the Network is good or poor.

In all seriousness I can see TMo getting the phone b4 Verizon.

Verizon is banking on the droid more then filling the void by not having the iPhone and I think it's a good bet, but time will tell. Apple should have worked out a deal with Verizon long before the droid hit the market because they may not want the iphone now. Until the switch in service happens for verizon who knows what will happen
