Google is bound to be free on all Android based phones but not yet for iPhone though it was talked about throughout almost all year long last year. I have three gps turn by turn apps on my phone I really don't need it nor am I holding my breath on it. Jailbreak your iPhone and I'll show ya how you can get TomTom/Navigon/Garmin and more...
As far as your question goes....My sister has that laptop sized Evo phone from Sprint and I've played with it and meh...not impressed. Also played with my coworker's Droid 2 and not impressed. They both are equipped with all these damn widgets and crap...kinda annoying in my opinion. I think you asked Chokem about widgets as well but I'm not a big fan of those. That's why I have lockinfo weather calendar, to do etc on my screen without having widgets occupying the whole screen.
Google nav would be nice for the consumers who do not jailbreak their devices and have no choice but to get everything through the app store and what not.
What's the matter? CIA's got you pushing too many pencils?
