    Terminated Employee Phone - Passcode unknown

    Advertisement

    Hello;

    I have an iPhone from a terminated employee. We do not know device unlock code and we wish to deploy the device to a new employee. Is there a way I can reset or wipe the device or get past the lock code without jail breaking the device.

    I have tried to do a restore via iTunes, but iTunes will note recognize the device.

    iTunes won't "see" the phone. I've tried that method already, but thanks for looking into it for me.

    Went through the force restore procedure about a dozen times, and finally iTunes recognized the phone in recovery mode. Now restored and reset, ready for redeployment. Thanks, all.

    I was wrong.... not restored... just clocked away doing the download... 18,000+ hours remaining, then crashed.

    Tried a dozen different times, tried DFU mode... nada. I have a paperweight until I can get "proof" this phone belongs to us and take it to an Apple store.
