    No. It will have to be replaced by Apple.

    You can but at your own risk. You may YouTube some how to vids but Im too much of a chicken to do it. Blackberries were no biggie but iPhones I dunno

    If you still have warranty or Applecare I would bring it in and have them do it. Especially if you never done it before. I work for Apple and we got alot of DIY accidents daily. Most of the time there is no charge because of warranty and Applecare is valid on the phones.

    thought about doing the same, but then my dad bought me an external battery for my iPhone. Maybe you should give it a try, I bought mine online here.

    I think doing it yourself might be more expensive if you mess it up. Did your warranty expire already?

    Yes you can change it but my advice is to contact Apple service centre for it rather than taking risk.

    That is one thing I do not like about the IPhone where you have to go to the apple store and make an appointment just to have your phone serviced. It would make it easier on the consumer to change out the battery on your own instead of going through this nonsense. And now after saying this, I am considering the IPhone 5 when it become available. lol
