I reformated my computer to put Windows 7 on to it. Now thta ive sync my phone half the apps, some I have paid for have gone. As phone management software I thinks its a joke. For me a syne means two way not one.
Formatting a drive deletes all the data.
Anyway any Apps u have downloaded b4 u can download again for free. Simply open iTunes and download the Apps again to your computer then sync.

Wish I knew them all. Should have noted them before the sync as itunes wiped them from my phone.
Great phone but next to useless computer program

I always recomend the 3-2-1 Rule
3 copies of any important file (a primary and two backups)
2 different media types (such as hard drive or optical media)
1 copy should be stored offsite (in case of Fire etc)
You wouldn't work in it by any chance. Nearly have everything back now. When I reinstalled datavault all my password are still there. Handy

Having had an Ipod for many years this one way sync has always annoyed me. I believe it was put in place to stop people giving or selling their music to others by syncing their Ipods onto other computers. May have been a requirement of the music industry(?) Or just a way for Apple to make more money
