I'm Elidgible For iPhone Upgrade Price

My wife's line can upgrade to iPhone for the $199 price. Her Curve's more phone than she needs as it is.
If I wanted to, I could use my sim in the new iPhone, and give my Curve to my daughter, who needs a good phone.
She's just going to have to wait till At&t releases the Bold.
I don't want an iPod gadget phone. I want the real thing:
    RIM.

I might be wrong, but putting your sim card in the iPhone is no easy task. If its like the first generation iPhone it's sealed with the battery I believe.

Dang. Sim sealed with battery? As ingenious as they seem to be, I can't believe they would do that, and continue to have a sealed battery on v2!
I really respect their talent, products, and marketing but I just can't bring myself to go to iPhone.
Hope RIM is addressing browser, and since concentrating on consumers, podcasts and streaming radio, etc.
They really do need to get 3rd Party Development jump started!

the first generation iphone's sim was not sealed with the battery. it has a sim card slot/tray at the top of the phone and you need something like a paper clip to open it, same as the 3G iphone
