hello i am goldbloom, need help with new iphone
i have just upgraded to the 3gs iphone, connected onto the i tunes and it says that it can not connect to i tunes even though the connection is ok,so i can not get my new iphone going any help much appreciated

One of our resident iPhone experts should be around to assist you some time soon.
I'm not and iPhone user but my two kids have one, I had the same problem with both of them and had to call AT&T. AT&T had to activate the phone from their end before we could do anything with the phones. AT&T told me that without them first activating the phone iTunes would do anything, don't know if this was a one time thing. Some one here way smarter than I will be able to give you some more help. Is the iPhone new or used? As sooner mentioned plug it directly into the computer and don't use a hub or anything.
Be sure your using the newest version of iTunes v9.1.1 (I think). Make sure you have authorized the computer to use your iTunes Account also.
Those are all things to check and a PBX to AT&T is a good idea.
You have to have an active internet connection and a valid ATT sim card for it to activate.
It helps having a newer version of itunes installed as well

Yup, your USB cable could be malfunctioning, or incompatible with your iPhone device.
