Gary - Glad to know you're enjoying your iPhone, it's pretty cool once you get going...and when you have a super good router, surfing the web and using data required apps is SO MUCH FUN!!! I know what you mean by 'Blazing' fast, I too have a very good router and...what a difference.

Ok, time for the big test. I will be traveling this weekend with my iPhone (this is probably the first time sans Blackberry in 5 years)...Actually since this is a quick trip and I am feeling so comfortable with the device, I am even leaving my laptop at home ()

Every other smartphone I have tried, I have chickened out when I left town and swapped back to the berry. This weekend should probably tell me if I have become an Apple convert or not

BTW - Cherri has a side bet that I would not last 16 days....I think that is Monday

It's assuming your downloaded that file package and allows you to navigate to it and select it.
Look here and select the proper method and download the file linked in the post.

Here is another link with information

I have a question. I installed AppSync 3.1 to be able to install apps to iTunes and it does not seem to work. Am I missing something or is there something I need to do to have it transfer over cracked apps to iTunes?

pdxmatts - On the older firmwares, you had install MobileInstallation in order to sync .ipa files, Now I believe you just add the .ipa file to iTunes and sync them to your iPhone. How are you adding the .ipa's to iTunes?

I guess I misunderstood what it does. Before jailbreak the apps that I loaded via my phone would automatically sync to iTunes. So, I thought this would do the same thing with apps that I installed to my phone through installous. Can you explain the procedure on how to add apps downloaded to my iPhone into iTunes ? Thnx

One way of doing it is when you are in iTunes with your iPhone connected is to move your cursor over your iPhone symbol in the left column. Right click and a small menu pops up. Select "transfer purchases". Any new apps that are on your iPhone and not in iTunes will be copied over. Also inside your installous settings make sure you have iTunes sync set to on.

pdxmatts - as calm_tiger stated, use the "transfer purchases" option in iTunes.

As for App Sync, just double click the .ipa file and it should be added to your application list (in iTunes) and you can then sync the apps like you normally do (with app store apps).

    Hope this helps!
