    Here is where we are on this. We know the WiFi is working, because the device sees the network and lists it. I have selected an open network so its not a password or security issue. Unless there is a step I missed I am stumped.

    It will show no service up there without a sim.....however there will be the little wifi symbol next to that showing you have a connection.....thats how is should look

    If it doesnt browse then restore the phone using the official IPSW from iTunes. Make sure it activates the phone then proceed to rejailbreak after verifying it will connect to your wifi connection.

    No luck, even with the browser.

    Rebooting the wireless router, just in case.

    Again, it sees the network and has a little check mark by it, but the screen says no signal and the browser times out.

    If your not using the sim leave it out.....causes issues didnt think about that......are you on tmobile?

    Yes, I am on TMO. I had to use the ATT Sim in order to itunes to see the device and update the firmware, but it seems to have been the cause of the no network issue. Oh well - I learn best by breaking things LOL!
