These are the apps that Neorabid recommended to download once it was Jailbroken

    Cydia
    Winterboard (for themes etc.)
Backgrounder (runs apps in the background)
Categories (to help keep my apps organized)
    Open SSH
    SB Settings

In Cydia, click on manage, sources, then edit, then add and type in cydia.hackulo.us and download that
Then do it again and type in cydia.xsellize.com and download that
In Manage go to Hackulo.us and download these apps
AppleSync for OS 3.1 (to sync installed apps to iTunes)
    Hackulous Security
Installous (where you can download apps for free)
In Manage go to xSellize and download:
Supreme Preferences (gives you tons of preferences to choose from)

Press the home + power button quickly at the same time then release. Best screen capture program out there. Its free & built into the OS already

At first there were a few things I didn't like about the iPhone, mainly the interaction with Outlook. Good thing our IT staff configured our Exchange servers to work with the iPhone. Now I don't really miss the BB too much. I picked up the curve the other day and found myself touching the screen...LOL...I quickly put it down...

Good info here, I've had BB's for the past 4 years. My wifes contract is up in Jan and I think we will be making the switch and getting one of these.

great thread, I am on the fence and with the iPhone and the Bold.
I have had the pearl 8100 and contract is up this month.
looks like I may fall the iPhone way.

Your in for a big change if your going from the Pearl to iPhone or Bold. I had the original Pearl and Bold before switching to the 3GS.
The iPhone experience is so nice it's hard to describe. Easy to use and tons of App make it hard to resist.
