So here is a short list of my favorite 3rd party applications in the App Store for the iPhone.

    Shazam (free)
Will display the artist and title of a song you are listening too on the radio.

    Urbanspoon (free)
Gives you ideas on where to eat around your area.

    Pandora (free)
Login with your Pandora credentials to listen to your playlists from pandora.com

    Remote (free)
Use your iPhone as a remote for iTunes.

    Google (free)
All the major Google Apps right here on your iPhone

    Ping Lite (free)
If you are on the same wifi network you can ping, tracert, and telnet to devices on your network. Very handy for network admins.

    vlingo (free)
Voice activated dialing, web search, and yahoo/google maps. Great program to have while driving.

    SnapTell (free)
Allows you to use the iPhone's camera to snap a picture of a book, magazine or dvd and search for prices at local stores and on the web.

    BeejiveIM (paid)
Same great mobile IM for the Blackberry but now available on the iPhone.
    Data Outages

you know there is a thread specifically for this?

    http://forums.pinstack.com/showthread.php?t=107356

would defeat the purpose having two threads, with the same info
    Quotes to live by:
    • Inspiration is like a lost sock. When your searching you can never find it, and when it appears, you least expect it.
    • There are no exceptions to the rule that everybody likes to be an exception to the rule.
    • Ideas are the factors that lift civilization. They create revolutions. There is more dynamite in an idea than in many bombs.
    • Realize deeply that the present moment is all you ever have.
