Bluetooth pairing with macbook prooooo

Hello, have any of you been able to pair your beloved iphone with your mac?? I would figure that the two would run seamlessly but this is not possible, at least for me. I would love to sync without usb but the phone will not see the mac. What is the problem Apple? I have spent thousands on these systems. Haven't we given you enough dough?

nikonianmike - You really won't be able to do much even WITH pairing your iPhone with your MAC, it's useless. The only thing you can do (as of now) is hands free and A2DP audio connection. Unless I'm totally missing something.

If you have iBlueNova (must be jailbroken) you can actually send files (music, pics etc) via bluetooth
