I was considering the iphone 3g a while ago but my hands got tired of all the finger-moving you do. It seems like every action is a finger swipe here or there. I like my trackball kthnx. Though I might buy one to use as an ipod and keep my pearl :P

    Thumbs up

Enjoy. But I will see you back in less than 3-4 months. I was a 5 year bb user. Changed my wife's BB and my BB for 2 Iphones 3Gs. Well the screen is beautiful, the browser is the best on mobile industry and.... thats all. Is a very nice and advance device, but a bb is better in a lot of areas.

I jailbreak it, also i could use any cracked app and I didnt. Dont know is like the 10,000 iphone apps are just fine. There are a lot of crazy and interesting apps, but is true; a bb is better. I already changed back...

When the iphone fixed the email integration, copy/paste, SMS forward and push notifications, maybe, I will get another one.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ glad you like the device, I too just picked up an iPhone, I added a line onto a relaties contract. Its an awesome device, ill keep the bb for now but for the past 2 days I couldn't let my device sit.

Now I retract all previous statements about att and the iPhone, no issues yet, and don't plan on having any either.

Seems like a good trade at certain times. How did they determine her value???

Hope you enjoy your iPhone !!

After 6 months I sold mine last week, I had to comeback to my BB Curve. Its a great phone for entertaiment but not for businness purposes. Writing an email is a pain in the @$$. There a a bunch of apps available but since they don't run in background mode some are kinda of useless. Some battery issues has been fixed, but nothing compares to the battery life of the Curve.

We all know you will comeback !!

Get the phone that suits your needs. If the iPhone does that for you. Then go for it.

Forget what everyone else is saying.

I actually did the opposite. I loved the iphone. Lack of keyboard and mms bothered me but I got over them. I just love the form factor etc of my bb curve. I have no regrets. Oh neither does the wife. She loves my old iphone!

I don't think I will switch back. BB has taken some getting used to as does anything new.

I got an iPhone on the first day the 3G version was released.

Used it for 2.5 hours before I went back to my Curve.

Now it just sits in a box.

It is a great toy. I recommend it to anyone that wants to watch YouTube all day and it has the best browser on any mobile device hands down.

But, it is not for me. I much prefer a hand held that will keep me productive, not busy playing games or watching YouTube videos
