Beejive Push Notifications and 3.0 soon to come

The folks at Beejive have been hard at work in their hive on version 3.0 of their wicked-cool IM client. Version 2.0 won an Editor's Choice Award at back in January for features such as audio messages and image transferring. Scheduled to be ready in time for WWDC, the most notable in 3.0 is the inclusion of push notifications for all account types. Additionally, the interface has been updated, scrolling speed has been improved (thanks to atebits), and various other tweaks and additions have been stuck in there.
There is also a video attached to the article that demonstrates the push notifications for Beejive as well as menus and 3.0 in action! I have to say that I'm thrilled about the up and coming updates!

Aright I'm late seeing this post but I have to say I'm looking forward to this App in v3.0. Let's hope they keep the $9.99 price and don't jump back up to $15 for a few more weeks.

Do you think the update will be free or will existing users have to ourchase it again. I am not sure how things have worked on previous updates.

It's 9.99 now in the app store. If I am correct, that price will go up again once the official 3.0 upgrade for beejive is realeased. On the other hand,also, the article stated that the update for beejive would be released by the date of the WWDC which has come and gone already. So, now may be the the time to act if you are sincerely interested in the software. That's just my 2 cents.

I read today on the Beejive boards the program update to v3.0 is free to current owners.

Thought I would post that tidbit for those wondering like I was.

Haha, It's still shows the old version for me to.

On another note I see AIM is showing the new version with Push. I will keep trying and see if iTunes will throw it my way.

A note of such:

Beejive seems to be working great with one minor DOH!
Yahoo does not seem to want to work. I get an error message. After looking into it, it seems everyone with iPhone Push IM App are having the same issue. Well not everyone but many (u get the point).

Otherwise it's great, snappy, no lag, notices are showing up and it's great.
I'm glad I made the purchase.
