    A silly question

Do you think it would be possible to swap an iPod harddrive into an iPhone? That way I could have more space for music? Different kind of memory?

Rather unlikely. Besides if you've seen the insides of and iPhone you would avoid it.

Im not sure how the iphone works but you probably would lose stuff that the OS needs to reload or upgrade. Its a good question though

I highly doubt it---wait till the 10th Gen iPhone and maybe they will have an external SD slot that is only accepting sdcards made my apple that once inserted will never be removed...this way youdont steal their precious information! LOL! (sarcasm)
Color---it's nothing but a hue of the rainbow...why do people place such importance in it?

Regualr iPods use physical hard drives where as the iPhone use flash memory, so even if it WAS possible...it's not possible.

Nope... Touch memory is divided in 2 (eg. 8+8gb or 16+16gb). Exacly where the touch has one of the memory "slot" is where the baseband of the iphone is.

Ahhh... That's what I figured. Just never opened up an iPhone to be sure.

Cuz I thought it'd be nice to have all my music with me without having to carry a phone AND an iPod.

You can transfer your music from your ipod to your iphone via itunes , as far as being able to transfer stuff like applications not gunna happen , iphone and ipod touch are 2 seperate entities

    True... and oh so funny!

Just think for a modest $89 dollars (not including shipping) Apple will happily replace it, and you only have to be without your phone for a WEEK!

Now That ... is "Thinking Different"... LMAO

Apple... entertaining in the oddest of ways!
