Nokia E71 Looking Better Than Ever in Red and All Black

engadget mobile: Nokia's not pulling any punches about the fact that its seemingly business-oriented E71 serves double duty as one of the sexiest QWERTY devices ever to see retail, showing it off in two gorgeous new schemes: chrome / red and solid black. We've seen these before, but never in any official capacity; now that Nokia Europe's website has 'em in all their shiny glory, that seems to be a good sign that we'll be able to whip out our credit cards eventually. RIM, what do you say: an 8900 in red? Please?

Lavagirl- a friend of my is very well connected eith TMO and in NYC the 8900 was and will be released in red and in black. So there will be a red one and a black one out. I'm not sure where and when the red will be available but from what he told me is that the red one is a limited edition version of the 8900.

I wish they had released this sooner to Rogers. I just got my White E71 the other day. I'm using it as my personal line and I use the Bold as my Work line just because the company pays for the BES. I love the E71 and I'm working on getting Skype to work the way I want it to. Ranx do you know if it is possibly to use the E71 on Skype for calls yet and if so does it just use data or does it use local or long distance minutes?

I love the new colours but the original steel is still the best looking in my opinion.

    Hi Quassi,

Well I am currently using BB 8900, and simply love that; but then recently i saw an E71 in white, and fell in love with that too Now as you have been exposed to both BB as well as E71, would you recommend trying E71 for a while? I am primarily a BIS user, and love to explore phones and applications.

    Waiting for your comment
