Nokia 5800 Xpess Music, any good

I'm getting a company phone, yeah me. I'm thinking the 5800 and have a few questions?
Its been a while since I used a symbian phone, a old 6600 which crashed a lot. How stable is it.
How easy it it to type?
I have a had a storm, curve and pearl and looking at what bb has to offer at the moment doesn't excite me.
Will this be a huge mistake?
    Thanks

Here's a link to a cnet review. That might help you decide if the phone is right for you.

vince1, how did it go with your 5800 phone? Did it meet your expectations? I am not sure how well it is for typing a lot.. I know someone who has it and is quite happy with it.. But for more of a pro phone I would go with an N series or even a E series.. If you choose nokia ofcorse.

Being part of the Xpressmusic range, you're ovbiously buying into an incredibly good music player as well as a mobile phone. The menu is very intuitive and the interface works either in landscape or portrait modes. As well as the MP3/WMA/WAV/eAAC+ player you also get a stereo FM radio with RDS. The 5800 also sensibly utilises a 3.5mm jack plug, so you can use a variety of headsets & therefore you're not restricted in any way. So feel free to spend as much or as little as you like in that department.
