| Nokia's Super Phone
The touch screen-querty Bold is rumored to be in the works. Well here's a hands-on with Nokia's Uber Phone, and it sounds very very impressive. Per IW: http://mobile.informationweek.com/de...PSKHSCJUNN2JVN |

I would not say Nokia's touchscreen devices ( released already and planned to be released in the future) are such huge concurrents to iPhone! iPhones still got all cream of the crop in this market and users all over the world still prefer iPhones when it goes about modern devices. so 5800, since i have tried it, visually not the best nokia's phone i have ever seen and especially not comparable woth iPhone, although of course has its own good sides and features. So... tastes are different.

Let's see how the uber does. Nokia has been very good concentrating on making people happy with their traditional keypads, including querty, by making the phones fast, full of anything you need, open to third party apps, open in true sense. But, that touch music 5800 didn't make much of an impression, despite the hype. Really need to understand why Nokia has to focus on iPhonizing its devices. With its leading market share, why does it need to employ resources for touch screen? I fail to understand. Is Nokia running out of ideas? ~via smartphone mobile.pinstack.com~ |
