I am not for sure about pocket pc phones but my old PDA (before touchscreen took a duece on, may it rest in peice... peices), never got one. I'm sure the operating proceedures and files are normally not the same on a PDA as compared to a normal computer.
I wish golf greens all funneled down to the hole.

Okay, I just read the review...I'm not impressed with this thing..I don't care for QWERTY. The Wing is too big for my taste.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~i had a ppc6700 wich is just like the wing IMO, and the thing constantly crashed on me. It wasn't very stable. I bought a pearl and I don't think I will ever buy another windows phone.

    Re: goobye pearl..hello wing!

Do you know if I'm correct that in moving to the Wing I lost:
    1. the Auto on/off feature? (So those 2 AM calls don't wake me up)
    2. The ability to change "Phone: Incoming call" notification to Vibrate, then INCREASING ring?
    3. The ability to backup my data. ActiveSync seems to be missing a backup feature.
    Thanks,
    Joe

I don't have the Wing but was thinking about buying it. Do you think it was worth the switch? How is the processing speed with the new OS? It will take a lot for me to give up my Pearl....

Honestly, America's cellular technology is years behind the rest of the world's cellular technology. Not just tmobile, all of them are way behind what the rest of the world has, especially in Asia and Europe.

My biggest complaint with the wing is the same problem that experienced with the pearl. When shifting between tall view to wide view there is a pause that is EXTREMELY annoying. It will momentarily retain the current view even after the slide has been moved for at least 2-3 seconds and its irritating. While it may not have the biggest impact on functionality its still annoying.

All the more reason why the blackberry OS fast enough for me.

I just hate the processors on the windows based devices too damn slow for those bricks, also they have shocking battery life. I will stick with the trusted BB devices.

You have to remember the Wing is only as reliable as Windows is.

Amen to that. I have always found in my wireless experience and employment with three different carriers that WM is prone to signifcantly more problems.
