I signed up for TMO about a week ago and the Manager told me about the Wing. But I just cant get away from the whole BlackBerry thing.

Is there something that pulled you away ?

I work for tmobile and i have played around with the wing alot... and honestly its a same old freakin windows based phone... it laggs wayy to much and you just have to keep power cycling because it will freeze up on you... the dedicated buttons on top of the keyboard are annoying because when you type a text message on it and you accidently press the top button it will either delete it or it sends it and you havent finished the message... honestly in my opinion i HATE windows based phones... they are all the same... laggy and freeze way too much... i would say keep your BB just incase... lol

I almost clicked the button and bought it just now but thought I would wait to hear some more reviews. Looks pretty nice though.

and that's different from BB how?
it is laggy (in most OS versions, yes the newer ones are getting speedier)
you have to do a battery pull for everything

Anything will be laggy when you try to push some of todays applications on these smaller devices. They aren't getting big processors because people don't want to pay $800 for a pocket device when many laptops are cheaper. I've had several Windows Mobile's, and, althought I don't like them, they are not as bad as everyone says. I like Treo's better than WM

im not a big fan of cingy. My $120 a month plan kept turning into a $150-160 a month plan. not too impressed. Never went over my minutes, Just too many hidden charges and they charge you for litterally anything that does not come basic with the phone.

tmo, just pay what you signed up for and that's it.

This phone bears a striking resemblance to the cingy/HTC 8125, could be a cousin. Things to check... 1) Dialing with the touch screen may be troublesome while driving or if the touch screen is out of alignment. 2) Voice dialing... on the 8125 and the 2125, you were required to record voice tags for each phone number you wanted to dial.

    Best of luck...

Cnet gave it a pretty good review http://reviews.cnet.com/smartphones/...-32452858.html

Looks a little big and heavy, that is why I like the pearl, a smartphone at the right size. I will never carry a phone/PDA on a belt clip (and my wife wouldn't let me).
