I want that now. I'm still on 8700. This is what I've been waiting for, a bb to "wow" me. I don't care about the price. The gov't is payin for most or all of it when I get that stimulus check. We need a release date asap. I will be at the AT&T store waiting how folks did with the iPhone last summer.

Hello everyone! This is my first posting. I trust you all are great!

I am super excited about the 9000, I mean, the Bold. I have a T-Mobile 8700g and I never upgraded to a Curve, even though I really wanted to. I didn't feel it was that much of a difference for me to make that leap. Also, I was bit annoyed that one Curve had Wi-fi, one had GPS, and later, on the newer 8800, it had GPS and Wi-Fi, but no camera.

My friends who have the Curve, would take them out at shows and special events and shoot pictures. And, of course, they'd mock my "old school" 8700g and say I need to upgrade. But still, I didn't give in. My intuition said "Wait, your 8700g is working fine. There will be a new one coming soon that will have Wi-Fi, GPS, a camera and much more."

So I'm thrilled about the Bold - it has Wi-Fi, GPS, a camera (although I wish it was 3mp or higher... it's fine, it's got video now, too), and it's 3g, finally!

I know T-Mobile just released their 3g in New York and it's branching out. I hope when the Bold is released in California, 3g will also be available, too.

I know I can upgrade any time now, so I'm going to just hang on to my trusty 8700g and when the Bold comes out on T-Mobile, it's on! :-)

Speaking of T-Mobile, I'm sure it's going to have MyFaves on it, and access to their Talk Forever at Home plan... which I'm really interested in, too. Anyone have any comments on their WiFi Talk Forever service?

    Great to meet you all!!

ps. What ever happened to Naggie? I always thought that was such a cool program (even though it wasn't available for my 8700g) but I can't find any info anymore, on the product itself nor creator, Andrew Zimmer. Anyone know if they're planning to upgrade it, change it? Thanks again.

    Peace,
    Pete

For those curious about the Bold on Verizon, I think Boy Genius reported it will be available May 2009. Sounds right since Verizon gets phones 12 months after released, typically. This, however, was posted on BGR before the Bold was officially announced, I want to say maybe a week ago?

I'm not a big fan of the buttons between the screen and keyboard or the back leather portion, but I'm getting this on my beloved T-Mobile ASAP!

Unless of course I can resist all temptation, stick with my Curve, and cause the world to implode on itself....

Please don't let it be an exclusive. If so, I'm stayin with NEXTEL. I want to upgrade my phone, but not that bad to switch carriers.

When the 9000 comes out for AT&T will we have to pay an additional charge for 3G? Or will we continue with the same Blackberry Data Plan for $29.99?
    What do you guys think?
