Tethering with BB desktop 5.0.1 setup

Hi all,

I am presently using the dial-up method setup to tether my BB Bold with laptop.
I hear desktop manager 5.0.1 has it's own setup configuration to tethering.

Has anyone tried it yet , is it faster ? I seem to be limited to 1.1 mbps with the regular dial-up modem connection method.

I tried it, but couldn't get any faster than about 500K, but probably due to the network here. Good alternative to have though if your in a spot...
