Hey all Female_Mc here, I've pimped out my Bold all except the trackball. I will post pics this weekend, I'm starting this thread to see how many of you would like to have your housing modified for a fee of $50 which would include the housing and shipping back to you? Very entrepreneurial. However, my bold's "pimpage" will be done by yours truly. Parts sourced from the net, total of $80.95, $24.97 of that is express shipping. Fully blacked out housing, keyboard, black metal battery cover, 2 trackballs, battery, and a holster for $55.98. Disassembling and assembly of all parts is under 15 minutes for a complete noob. Undo 6 screws and it practically takes itself apart.

$50 is a great price. I think most would like the trackball & other options. Unfortunately, my warranty is still good & I don't want to void it yet. (3-month old BOLD). Great idea, I've seen someone else do this on a whim & now has her own business doing this. (she actually spraypaints the casings in custom colors). Good Luck, _dave_ |
