I have just upgraded my Bold to v4.6.0.282 (Celcom - Malaysia) and when I do a hard reboot (pulling out the battery), I got the following error: Uncaught exception: net.rim.device.api.i18n.MissingResourceException Everything else seems to work fine, once I click OK, except for the battery life. Now battery life seems to be shorten by 20% and will not last me through the day with just 1 hour of talk time. Any help and advise will be appreciated. | I went ahead and upgraded when they re-released, and honestly I haven't noticed any difference really... I don't think I needed to upgrade since I didn't have an issue with VVM in the first place... Even as everyone was posting about it not working for them... mine was working... I'm on the fence now trying to decide if I give up the BBM 5.0(2.0) in order to get the features of the 5.0 OS... I have it installed on my 8330 and I'm loving it... just not ready to take that leap on my Bold... I'm digging the BBM too much...

Just thought I would add my experience with .282. I upgraded from .247 because I was having issues with the GPS. It would take ages to obtain a fix, even in clear skies and sometimes wouldn't obtain a fix at all. I had a feeling it may be os related, so upgraded to.282. Still have the gps issue (so I'm thinking it may be hw) but now find that my data connection is a lot more flakey. I quite often have no data, and my signal drops from 3G to GPRS. I also lose the blackberry conenction quite often (the little BB logo next to the 3G). Didn't do a wipe before upgrading, so it may be due to that. Guess I should have stuck to .247 - apart from the GPs it was rock solid.

lol what? No, get 5.0.0.314! That's the best one I've run so far on my 9000. That'll likely be the last beta. You'll have to reinstall the Visual Voicemail and Browser, though, but it's easy. Do you need help w/ that?
