BBM 5.0 didn't work. Neither did Windows Live Messenger. All other apps worked fine but can´t live without messengers.

Wow, i'm not the only one having issues. I've been trying to get BBM 5.0 to work but I lose the icon. Also, does anyone know if you need to do the Browser fix?

demetrius -- I installed over and while this isn't the worst 5.0 install its def not the best. I'll be downgrading momentarily.

Ktorres -- my fb didn't make the install so I can't test. I was told that FB didn't work with 5.0.

Facebook doesn't work, bbm5 is working for me, many third party apps are working as well, the trick is downloading them and set the permissions prior to download.

i'll try that link once i downgrade again.
none of the bbm ota links or the skyfire link was working for me last night and i did try at least 20 or so times.

I just downloaded skyfire again, is hard to get it, maybe a server overloaded

So I'm on 5.0.0.100 and I've been having random restarts in the past couple weeks. Not a huge deal given it is a beta but I would like to go to a build that doesn't do this and have the BB browser back -- I've lived without it and haven't wanted to try the fix because it's not totally necessary for me -- so if this resolves those issues that would be cool. I may just dive in anyway as I have before with most other betas. Heh.

downgraded back to the official rogers release 4.6.0.282

Word is that the 5.0.0.14X builds are almost heavenly... so I guess we have more waiting to do!

that's good to know

i don't mind testing/trying them out. this was not the worst upgrade i've ever experienced.

Luckily I don't think I've ever had a bad upgrade... just long ones. I'm still sitting comfy with .100 right now, she's been treating me nicely so far lol.
