7130e is on Verizon...I like the 7100i because of the GPS and Walkie Talkie features, but that's pretty much it. I guess I find the 7130e easier to use...I also still have another year left on Verizon so maybe I'll go and check out Nextel again one of these days. The nextel/sprint people also told me that towards the end of this year they are going to come out with phones that work with both Sprint and Nextel towers, so we'll see if that comes through..

Currently I have a 7100v after being used with a 7230 for more than a year. Still, 7100 is an excellent device, even if I have to get used to the Suretype™ system.

What do you mean? I talked to Nextel customer service and they said it supported both in and outgoing SMS.

No offense to any customer service reps in here (and if you are part of these forums, then this probably doesn't apply to you), but from my experience, very very few of them know what they're talking about. Their customers know more about the phones/service that they do!

I have a 7100t and tmobile service as well. I have had a lot of phones (mpx200 was my last) and I think this phone comes pretty close to what i've been looking for. I love the suretype keyboard (find it very easy to use). I wish it had an sd card though.. Overall very pleased with my new phone.

I have a 7100g but now i have scratched the screen from sticking it in my pocket.... I love the whole BB platform though... upgrading to a 8700 in which i will be getting those screen protectors.... getting a scratch on your screen sucks.... it's like getting one on your sunglass lens... Everytime you see it you get annoyed....

I have the 7100i I used to have the 7520 but got a little scared when the law suit came up and was afraid of waking up one day and not having service. So I bought a i930 and thought it could replace my blackberry man was I wrong I was going through crackberry withdraw bad. So now I'm back with the 7100i and love it its not a brick on my side but I do miss the full keyboard but oh well I'll get used to double tap!!
I just starting using the bb messenger to I never used it before when I had my old bb its cool!! I enjoy talking to all of you on it so if you want to chat hit me up onbb mes.!!

I went thru this also. I bought a Sidekick 2 for Christmas (What was I thinking?) and used it and my older Color Sidekick until both crapped out and I replaced them. The third one crapped out also so I'm back with the 7105t.
