Same here....sk2 had way too many issues and it was becoming quite bulking and I was also tired of "Hey what kinda game is that?"...it's a great device...guess I just out grew it...although the kid in me kinda misses it but the adult in me is like "get over it already"!!! lol

my wife is thinking and researching the sk2 units for us. Somehow my BB is a Nerd Device but the Sidekicks are Trendy Cool.

What do you guys think about the comparo of features between the BB and SK2?

I say stick with the BB, I used a SK2 until I switched to the 7520. I will say the main issue I had with it was lack of apps and them cost too much, also you can only set up 3 pop accounts.

So dont leave the BB, unless you plan to be un happy, those SK2's are more of a toy then a trendy device.

I have both 7290 and 7100g. I liked the 7290 but feel it's a little wide and like the feeling of the 7100g better. Sure type is fine since I am already used to t9 on my Nokias.

Very New!

I'm the new owner of a 7105t

After researching the sk2, the new nokias, Treo's, the HTC's bout to come out, et al., I decided on the BB.

For the price, reliability, and feature set, I'm happy with the purchase. I just didn't realize that the OS would lead me to this hidden Narnia of BB users. Nor did think the BB would be so deep, necessitating some extra, post purchase research. I'm in the outcast group vis BB owners, I GUESS, owning a Mac, but the phone is too solid (and slippery!) to ignore.

I considered SureType a drawback before purchasing, now I think it's great! I thought the directions were convoluted, until I started typing without looking or worrying. Now I have to master all the quick keys!

Question 7100g

I could learn to love my 7100g. It has great email features...but I definitely wish the voice quality was better. If my voice reaches a certain dB then the person on the other end complains that my voice sounds scrambled. Anyone else have this problem?:?:
