Is it possible to open, send and listen to wav.files on a 7100i. I get attachments with wav.files but I don't get an option to open it. Please pin me if you have a solution. Thanks, |

from what I have read, you can only get and open those attachments on a BES account.

I believe with the latest update, the 7100i can use wav files but only as ringtones. They must be installed from the web using the browser. Hope this helps. Rcbjr ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ |

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ I have the 7100i and I've downloaded the OS Software and I now I have LOTS of wav ringers! They are pimp to! They play almost the whole song on most sites.. That was my only complaint about this phone (that I couldn't have real music ringers) so I love it now! -but sorry, but for some reason you still can't receive or send wav files.. If there is a way, I haven't heard of it.. <3 |

Thanks all. Maybe we will get some updated software since a new blackberry for Nextel don't seem to be in the near future.
