| Unlocked 7100 series
Will an unlocked 7100g from Cingular work on the t-mobile network? For that matter, will any other 7100 worked unlocked on other netowrks? I know other unlocked BB models will, but what about the 7100 series. |

I am pretty sure an unlocked 7100 will work with any carrier. The trick is getting that carrier to release the IMEI and PIN so that it can be used on another carrier. I had an unlocked Cingular 7290 that I wanted to use with T-mobile. It took a few days for Cingular to release the IMEI and PIN but eventually it worked without any problems. |

| Re: Unlocked 7100 series
First I contacted T-Mobile, and added a BB plan to my unlocked BB. Since they couldn't register the PIN and IMEI, they had to contact RIM to get Cingular to release it. It took a couple days but eventually everything was up and running fine.
