    How do I turn off my email notifier but still keep my phone ringer on?

    Hello out there in BBLand. I need to turn off my email notifier but still keep my BB telephone ringer on. Can someone help me?

    Go to your profiles icon, and you can just change the profile to Phone Only. That should work perfect for what you're asking.

    Alternatively, If you like everything else about the profile you are using, or have customized other parts of your profile, you can edit the profile, choose messages, and there you will have the option to set the type of notification both in and out of the holster.

    just as a shortcut if you have an 8700c (not sure if it's a default setting on other carriers) there is a button the left side below the USB input port that'll get you right into the profiles

    It might be easier in the long run and create a new profile that is set up just like you want with the email option set to none. That way you don't have to edit one each time you want to change. Just change profiles when you need to.
