It took me only a day to get used to suretype. You just treat it like a regular keyboard. And stick with it. It gets a lot easier in time. And smarter since it learns your typing habits.

I have had two full QWERTY keyboard BB and just switched to the 7105t. Suretype isn't bad at all. I'm actually faster with the 7105t than I was with my 7230. I also have less spelling mistakes due to the way suretype works. Another benefit is not confusing my BB keyboard and shortcuts with my PC keyboard! I think you'll find the 7105t with SureType is an excellent choice. Also see: http://www.pinstack.com/blackberryfo...read.php?t=804 |

Thanks for the help. I am also considering upgrading to a 7105t. I also have had 2 full keyboard 7730's which I enjoyed except for the backlighting and signal which were horrible.

I also have a question if someone can help me. I saw on one of the free introductory lessons on blackberry.com that the 7105t power button can be used to change the backlighting level of the screen. How does that work?

Oh and I figured out the backlighting question. I tried it myself and it works. Just press the power button lightly with the screen on.
