| Removing Unwanted Tunes
How do I remove the standard tunes and notifiers that came on my 7100i? I want to free up some space, but when I enter the menu, I do not recieve the option to delete them.

Hello Quettajarob and Welcome to the Stacks. I do not believe that you can delete the stock tunes and modifiers that came with your BB.

quettajarob, Welcome to PinStack. You can't delete just some of the default ringtones. You can prevent them from being installed when installing the OS, but in doing so you may cause more problems that you solve. I don't know what effect it will have if your BB looks for a ringtone that isn't there. If you want more information on how to do this let us know and I will find the post that explains how. But you need to be really comfortable with messing with your OS and willing to take the time to troubleshoot any problems that doing the causes. I don't recommend it. Let us know if there is anything else we can do to help with this problem or your BB. Rcbjr |

Welcome to pinstack. I dont think it is worth removing them. The memory will not be enough to notice. There are many other ways to increase memory if you are interested. |
