    Question removing themes

i recently installed the zen theme for my 7100g, my problem is that my bb memory is now low and i need to remove the other themes that came with the install.
    1. cant delete theme from the theme list
    2. they dont show up in options>advanced>applications
    3. i tried removing the plazmic theme reader from the application manager but no success there either
    4. even after wiping my handheld, the themes are still there.

    help please.

is there a way to format my blackberry?

    Re: removing themes

ehh this isn't the best method to remove stuff from your BB but if you go into options > advanced > applicatsions and you can't find the app that you know you want to delete you can hit the toggle wheel and go to 'modules'. Just be careful because if you delete something important you might have to restore to get it back. this is the method that I use to remove things that are not in the applications menu. if you aren't sure what it is then don't delete it.

    Re: removing themes

did you edit your blackberry.alx file to install the theme? you may have to reverse engineer those themes off your BB. Here is one post about getting them on your BB, maybe these will help you edit this file to get them off.

    Re: removing themes

Correct, if you edit the alx to unlock the themes then you must do the opposite to get them off your BB.

The best way is to go back into the alx and put the codes back the way they were.

Let us know if you need further help.

    Re: removing themes

okay, this is ironic...I just tried to uninstall a couple of the vendor themes by changing the vendor code from 102 to 100 in my blackberry.alx file, Cingular is 102, but when I run apploader it is not recognizing the changes saved in the file. It shows I have nothign to update...and ideas?

Check the free memory, reboot your BB by holding the power button down for 30 seconds and then check the free memory again.
