I just started using the 7100 and today my profiles stopped working. My device is set on "Vibrate" but when I receive a call, the ringer goes off. I've tried setting up a new Profile called Office with everything to Vibrate and it still rings. What have I done to my blackberry? It's driving me crazy!

Try again to perform the following steps:

1. Scroll to and click the trackwheel to select the Profiles icon.
2. To open the menu, scroll to and click the trackwheel and select vibrate.
3. Click the trackwheel to select Edit.
4. Scroll to and click the trackwheel and select Phone.
5. Click Edit.
6. Scroll to Out of holster and click the trackwheel.
7. Click Change Option.
8. Scroll to and click the trackwheel and select vibrate.
9. Scroll to In holster and click the trackwheel.
10. Click Change Option.
11. Scroll to and click the trackwheel and select vibrate.
12. Click the trackwheel.
13. Click Save.
14. To go back to the Profiles screen, press the Escape button back to the profiles screen scroll to hilight Vibrate.
15. Click the trackwheel to select Enable.

Test it by calling your Blackberry.

i am having the same problem with 7100i. I have went in and reset all profiles but my phone still rings even if i have it set on "off" or "vibrate". it also rings distinctively before the selected ringtone. any other suggestions?

Has it been doing this since you got the handheld, or is it something that just started happening?
