| Pin messages
I would appreciate information on what pin messages are. I haven't explored this aspect of my BB yet. When I first got it and read the manual I wasn't clear on what pin messages are or what advantage there is to using them. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Riverman. Your model BB should come with BB mess. No need to download. Very nice app. Use it more than MMs. Only works with bb custombers.

| Re: Pin messages
~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ Think of BlackBerry PINs as a hybrid or cross breed of email and SMS. A PIN message is like email because it can be long and has a subject line. It's like an SMS in that each BB device has its own unique PIN, akin to a mobile phone number. There is also the BB Messenger app which is an IM client. However, PIN messages and IM are limited to other BlackBerry users. The other thing to keep in mind is that any PIN activity, whether messages or IM, is considered data, and will be charged by your carrier as data. |
