Question part bb; part comp problems. but 99% human error

hello all! i am new to this site as well as the world of blackberries. i know enough about computers to get by but i am running into a problem with my blackberry desktop software. everytime i put the cd in the computer, it doesnt automatically start to run and i can remember how to use the command prompt screen to get it started that way. any help would be greatly appreciated!

For command prompt, just change to the CD drive: "cd d:"
Then get the directory: "dir"
Then type the name and extension of the file: "setup.exe".

An easier way if you're using Windows is to go to Start, Run, and then browse to and select the program on the CD.

go to mycomputer and click you cd drive and it should pop up

ok like i said this was 99% human error lol turns out i had so many viruses on my old stand alone that the tech guy was surprised it was still running and hadnt crashed yet lol so i got a new one and now i just have to figure out which dtm from bb website will work for my phone.

Any desktop manager will work for your phone I'd go with 4.5 though.~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~
