I don't think there is a version of 4.2 for the 7100 devices.

On your post you said you have the 7105t which is T-Mobile. Which one from this list do you have?

    7100i
    7100g
    7100x
    7100v
    7100r
    7100t

Re: OS upgrade in BB 7105t

You have me confused. So the phone is actually a 7105t which means you need to download the os for that provider.

I am not near my computer so I dont have access to give you full support on this thread as I am on my bb..

Go to google and do a search for your wireless provider and after add 7105t os upgrade.

Nor will there be. 4.2 is reserved for 64mb+ handhelds.

The following is a copy/paste from a thread here at Pinstack. I can't find the thread using search right now (because I'm still half asleep) but these instructions work for transferring media files between memory-challenged BBs (which will never see a 4.2 OS) and the WWW. I use this process regularly for sending pictures to my (old) 7290:
    Connect BB to computer
    1) Perform a selective backup with Desktop Manager, saving only Content Space from your real Blackberry, then disconnect
    2) Download/Install the Blackberry JDE
    3) Start the MDS Simulator
    4) Start the BB Simulator (probably best to choose your specific model)
    5) Simulate a USB connection
    6) Restore the back up from 1) to the simulated BB
    7) Surf to the web site that has your ringtone in the BB Browser on the simulation then save it
    8) Perform a selective backup with Desktop Manager, saving only Content Space from the simulated BB
    9) Disconnect/Close the simulated BB
    10) Connect your real BB
    11) Use Desktop Manager to perform a selected restore of the saved Content Space from 8)
    12) Go to Profiles>Show Tone and find your new content!

    Also works for pictures
It's a bit of a process, but once you do it a few times it gets easy. I apologize to the author for not giving proper credit, but this morning I can't seem to find anything with the search box!

Re : OS upgrade in BB 7105t

4.2 won't be available for 7100 or 7105 series since they don'T have the intel processor, don't even know if there will be one for 7130 series.
And for your ringtones, 7105t does not accept mp3 ringtones if it was the goal of the upgrade sorry

    Hope this Helps

I'm french canadian so I can also help you in french, just PM me
UNLESS it is for a BETA OS, it's at your own risk and I won't support it
