    Question Modify icon positions

Does anyone know if it is possible to hide and/or move icons on the main screen of my 7100t? I don't use "Enterprise Activation", yet it holds first place on the screen (and menu in the other profile). I also want to be able to group my commonly used apps together near the top of the screen. I can't find any way to do this from the configuration screens. Does anyone know if this is possible?

Glitch is correct. That is the best way to do it.

As far as grouping icons, it can only be done by arranging them in a convenient order.

I hid all of the applications I don't use. And I also hid the applications I have shortcuts on my home screen for. I know the 8700 is different from the 7100 series, but I imagined you'd be able to do the same.

Thanks so much, works like a charm, but on the 7100t it is not the "shift" key ("#") but the dedicated "alt" key in the lower left of the KB. When the shift key didn't work I tried the other one, and voila!

    Thanks again.

Now that you ask... I wondered before I got my 7100t if it would browse via the USB/Bluetooth connection rather than on-air if I had the Desktop Manager connected to the BB. I read something here where someone suggested it would, but it doesn't seem to happen. Even when the BB says it is connected to the desktop it still browses via wireless. Is it possible to use the 7100t the way I want to? I was hoping to avoid airtime when download big applets.

I wondered if it might work if I just had the Device Manager connected to the BB but that doesn't seem to work either.

Nope, you can't browse from your BB using your PCs Internet Connection. I believe what was being referred to was the oposite. Using the BB as a modem for the PC.

    Hope this helps
