| Messaging problems
Hello. I have a problem that started on friday. When sending a sms or mms message. I get a notice stating the "certificate has expired or is invalid". I checked the certificates in security options and i have an X on CYBER TRUST ROOT and a ? on RSA SECURE SERVER. I never changed any of these options. After i select continue the message is delivered as normal. But what is this? And how do iget rid of it before every message? ANy info will be helpful. Thank You in advance.

I received the same problem last night when receiving an sms. Very strange, hasnt happened since.

Here is a fix... Go to Options, go to Advanced Options, go to Service Books, find MMS Client [MMS] and Nextel MMS Transport [WPTCP] and delete both of them. Go back one screen and go to Host Routing Table and choose Register Now, do that a total of 3 times. Then go back to Service Books and make sure the two you had deleted are at the top. Then go send an MMS and when it says that certificate thing again hit continue. It shouldnt do it again after that, least mine aint.

Did all the following. At the last step i get the option "continue" instead of next. Hope its the same thing. Thanks for the tips.

Sent out a few texts. Got the same response, But only to about 25% had the pop up before the text was sent. How were your findings?

My MMS go through fine. I havent had the error since. Repeat the process see if that works. Good Luck.

Well most of the people i am texting dont have BB. So i guess tehere format would be SMS. Is that wherer the problem occurs?

Its probably only happening on Nextel 7100i, both you and I have one. We are in different parts of the US so its not area effected.

oh ok. Just anutha Nextel affiliated problem. LOL. Thanks for the help. P.S. Did you check-out the new post on streaming video. To bad its only fot the 8700 and 7130 models.

Yeah I am using nextel 7100i and have had the same happen about 4 times the last couple of days. Also had some freaky stuff happen Sat night phone was not making any noises, not ringing or pinging, it kept shutting off by itself, I think nextel was doing something to the system...works fine now.

O.K. Still have the problem. Even when i receive a message it gives me the same pop-up even before i have to open the text. Then i have to retrieve the data. Whats going on?
