    Loose Port

I have a 7130e and the port on the left side that the USB cable plugs into has broken loose. My company is getting me a new 8830 but (I know this is going to be a silly question) since I can't hook up with usb cable, any way to backup what I have or am I just screwed?

The 7130 is a 64mb device, which makes me think that with the 4.2 OS it may be able to connect to the computer with bluetooth. The other (32mb) devices in the 7100 series cannot, their bluetooth is only for headset connection. Just an idea . . .

    Re: Loose Port

This happened to me with a 7105t. Fortunately I had all my stuff backed up before it happened. And just like you are upgrading to the 8830, I went from the 7105t (after a second 7105t's trackwheel locked up) to a Pearl.
