| Loading apps from desktop...
Im a BB newbie, so please excuse idiotic questions for now. When clicking on my desktop manager and trying to upload applications, it keeps giving me an error message. I usually go to the website on my PC, download the app., usually a zip file, I go ahead and exctract to file, then open the desktop manager, hook up my BB, click to install app., click "browse", click the file to download but it keeps saying it doesnt recognize the file extension. The bad part is, when I click "browse" it wont show the axl extensions, it will only show the program when I hit "all files" |

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~Thats the problem. When I open the zip file I can't even see the icon unless I click 'show all files' instead of .ALX and .Ali files.

If you are just opening the zip file instead of unzipping it the .alx might not show up. I did that a few times when i first started getting to know my BB.

-Cyrus-, Welcome to PinStack. What app are you trying to load? Please provide the file names and extensions also. If it's an app developed for the BB and loading with Desktop Manager is should come with an .alx file and one or more .cod files. Rcbjr. |
