Question Is there a way to create a folder for similar programs?

I'm new to the stack. Tried a search but couldn't find anything. Is there a way to create a folder that would hold similar icons, i.e. web browsers, games, news etc.? I have a 7100i.

Not with the current OS or themes, or Theme Builder, but there are themes available that have an Application Folder. The only problem is you can't move apps in or out of this folder. You have to take what ones are put in it.

    Sorry, it doesn't help.

Is there a way to determine what icons show up when you press alt-esc? The icons seem to vary every time.

When you press ALT+Esc, you bring up the Active Apps ribbon. These are the applications that are executing in the background. There are four basic items that are always active, the Home Screen, the Browser, the Phone, and the Messages. Other Apps will show up if they are active. It's function is similar to the ALT+Tab function in Windows. Hope this helps

ALT-Trackwheel press will allow you to reaarange your icons on the home screen, if that helps.
