How to create new direct "links"?

Under bookmarks in the browser, I noticed that under "links" there is only the BB Help link.

can more links be added rather than adding bookmarks?

How about creating a link that shows up as an icon on the home screen...possible?

Thank God for being able to edit without a time limit (like some other forums).

Still trying to get used to post messages on the BB.

Those "Links" are just Preset Bookmarks. Don't know any reasion to add to them, they are the same thing. As to adding a bookmark that shows up as an Icon. I think there was an 3rd party app that allowed this, but can't remember where I saw that.

That's why I'm asking...there is only one "link", so why is it there as a category at all if more "links" can't be added to it.

It is a special link, to the Blackberry Wap website where RIM, and their partners provider free services and apps to Blackberry owners. It is a permanent Bookmark. And by the way, All bookmarks are "Links". The other sections are there for you to put your own "Links" to sites you go to often, and are based on which Browser you use/want to use to go to that link.

Did you EVER get an answer to this? I know I saw a link somewhere for a 3rd party app to do this, but I have no clue where or what it's called...please let me know?
